Taurus DSC (Digital Setting Circles) is an object guidance system that, in combination with an astronomical application, helps to quickly locate any object on the sky map. Just select an object from the list or indicate it on the screen, and the application will indicate exactly in which place you should point the telescope.
| Mirror Cooling Fans System |
The Cooling Fans system significantly reduces the amount of time spent waiting for reach the thermal equilibrium of the optics in the telescope.
Recommended especially for medium and large telescopes.
| Set of covers |
Made of
strong, water resistant material Codura 600. Reinforced zippers and comfortable handles will provide comfortable use for several years. Interior is padded with a soft and delicate lining for best protection of a telescope in transport.. An additional pillow is sewn into the bottom of a cover. Besides transportation, covers are also perfect fit for telescope storage.
| Heating system |
Heating system for secondary mirror. Automatically measures and compares temperature of the air and mirror. If both temperatures start to equalise, the system will react promptly in advance and slightly rise mirror’s temperature. As a result – no more problems with dew nor frost or icing.
| Counterweights set |
Taurus telescopes are equipped with adjustable center of load, thus using heavy oculars do not require counterweights. Although if you’re planning on equipping telescope with additional accessories or using combination of heavy oculars + Barlow, Paracorr, or coma corrector, then using counterweights is recommended. The kit consists of a handle and weights.
| Focusers |
All Tauruses by default are equipped with 2″ Crayford’s ocular focuser with planetary transmission 10:1 and adapter of 2″ to 1,25 “. The adapter is prepared for installing 2” filters. Optionally we install focuser of different brand. We have a number of evaluated models from companies: Starlight Instruments, MoonLite, Baadder Planetarium.
| Finders |
Our telescopes are equipped with an universal, aluminum bus for installing accessories. Thanks to that every telescope can be equipped with a finder, which significantly increases comfort of observations. In our offer we have a number of most popular models from companies: Celestron, Teleskop Service, GSO, Sky-Watcher with cross, straight or angled nozzle, the red dot type. Installation of every purchased finder is free.
| Spider |
By default Taurus telescopes are equipped with a classic tripod spider. Optionally telescope can be equipped with two-armed, curved spider. Such solution eliminates problem of so-called diffraction pins. Additionally it significantly improves contrast on planets and visibility of delicate details with a low contrast.
| Truss spacers |
Thanks to adjustable length of a grid we can pull the focal length up to 45mm relative to the ocular. Such solution let us take pictures in so-called main focal of a telescope. By installing the camera instead of ocular, together with shortened grid we will get the same resultant focal length as the telescope has.
| Transport cart |
Sound and rigid construction made of powder painted aluminium. Big, 20cm wheels will help you moving in the rought terrain and ramps. Recommended especially for transporting the largest telescopes without having to unfold it.
